The first of what is to become an annual event, the Cashmere Valley Dual Sport hosted by Coyote Offroad was a blast! Over a hundred miles in a day of forest roads and great single track. Two route options gave riders a choice between a moderate B route appealing to larger dual sports and adventure bikes while the A route provided a challenge for plated dirt bikes. I road A route on my KLX 351 which was the perfect machine for the job. Unfortunately I only had time for day one of the two day event, but this event will forever be on my calendar the first weekend of October. See yall next year!

Thank You to Jerod, Mike, and all of the support cast for putting on such a well organized event. I was impressed with the trails as well as the friendliness of all of the checkpoint personnel and other staff. I had a great time and will be watching for next year’s schedule. I highly recommend this ride and the owners.

Hit the road at 4:45, in the morning, to make it to the second annual Coyote Offroad dualsport ride in Cashmere, Wa. With little rain last month, the trails were extremely loose and dusty. The first couple hours were quite challenging on fresh cut singletrack and roads covered in flour like dirt. As the day progressed, the trails got better and the roads even improved. Good challenging ride of 95 miles for the day.
